WHO AM I?
I'm Amanda: wife, adoptive mama, daughter, sister, coffee drinker, creator, designer and, most importantly, Jesus-lover.

WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?
Initially I mulled over several names, but Manda Julaine Designs stood out (thanks to my hubby). Simply put, Manda Julaine is my name. Manda is short for Amanda and Julaine is my middle name (pronounced Jew-lane).

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR DESIGN HISTORY.
My love of design started in 2011 when I began working as a Manager of Fundraising and Public Relations. Much of my job involved branding fundraisers and events. I also worked, for a period of time, for a Swiss-based company and managed all their National Marketing Strategies and outreach. I quickly fell in love with the design world. I began branding for both work positions and building and launching websites.

My love for blogs began started with my personal blog, Adding to Us, with the purpose of cataloging and updating our friends and family about my family's journey to adopt our daughter (coming August 2014). Blogging was a hit for me. I loved blogging and reading others' blogs. Instant passion. Through my design background, I was able to quickly learn the ins and outs of web coding and blog design. And, needless to say, I desired to do more with this skill. After some prompts from close friends, I prayed through it and really felt like the Lord was opening the door for this passion.

After designing a few blogs for friends as free side projects, I realized that I had hit a sweet spot. With many expenses still rapidly approaching with our adoption, I started Manda Julaine Designs with the intention of helping to fund the remaining expenses for our adoption.

I have a passion for helping clients envision their blogs and/or business brands and building it to reality. I desire to help you take your business or blog to the next level by helping you achieve your design and branding needs.
